JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage key accounts where key contacts will be technical and whose trucks require engineering experience and extensive product knowledge. Responsible for product knowledge, application engineering criteria, current technology and current market conditions for new truck department, competition and customers. Responsible for learning customer business, needs and how trucks will be utilized, so as to help design and price the units. Work with client and manufacturers and suppliers, and take responsibility for the vehicle throughout the sales process — spec’ing, unpublished pricing, tracking build, coordinate PDI, delivery and payment of vehicle within agreed time frame. Responsible for maintaining Phoenix CRM accuracy and information input from all sales calls for active and conquest accounts. Maintain customer data base to ensure it is kept current and report concerning or grievances by customers. Complete all necessary documents as required for selling the truck following the process and procedure developed by the new truck sales department. Responsible for writing truck appraisals and preparing reports in order to complete assigned duties. Responsible for securing financing prior to ordering trucks and introduce customer to Finance Department for all opportunities. Perform all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: B.Sc. in Engineering
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 10 years in heavy truck industry
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: English/Spanish fluency. 10% domestic travel.
